About the Committee

The Night Crisis Committee (NCC) is an advanced, high-pressure committee designed to test the diplomatic, strategic, and leadership skills of delegates. Unlike traditional MUN committees, the NCC operates in a closed-door format with no prior disclosure of the agenda. Delegates are specially selected by the executive board, with only a few from each senior committee being selected. Convening for one intense session, participants are assigned portfolios, as developments unfold. The absence of prior preparation demands quick thinking, creativity, and the ability to negotiate under immense time pressure.

The NCC thrives on uncertainty, requiring delegates to respond to rapidly changing scenarios, shifting alliances, and incomplete information. Crisis updates arrive, forcing participants to make swift decisions that could dramatically alter the direction of events. In this environment, there is no room for hesitation. Every directive, alliance, or statement can have immediate and far-reaching consequences. Through backroom deals, secret communications, and high-stakes negotiations, delegates will experience the intensity of real-world diplomacy condensed into a single, fast-paced session.

In the Night Crisis Committee of JBCN Oshiwara MUN 2025, the only constant is unpredictability, and success depends entirely on a delegate’s ability to adapt, strategize, and lead under pressure.
