The International Press at the United Nations consists of accredited journalists and media organizations from across the globe who are authorized to cover the work of the UN and its specialized agencies. Their primary role is to observe, document, and report on the activities of the UN—ranging from high-level General Assembly debates and Security Council meetings to humanitarian briefings and treaty negotiations—ensuring that the work of the organization is communicated accurately and transparently to the international public. While our journalists write unflinching opinion pieces, our photographers freeze unguarded movements. Together, the press team will document every speech, resolution and diplomatic gesture. At JBCN Oshiwara MUN, International Press delegates are entrusted with the task of not only ensuring that the conference is authentically recorded and holding both the organization and its Member States accountable.
